Yours truly, introducing the seminar

Daniel, one of the attendees, saying the opening prayer.

One of Nigeria’s finest debaters and a good brother, Temiloluwa Awonbiogbon, listening with rapt attention.

My friend, also one of Nigeria’s finest debaters, sharing practical tips from her experience as a public speaker.

I’d put up some other pictures soon.

Stay close by.

A ray of hope…

After almost 80 days of our president in absentia and our Nation in limbo, it was so refreshing to hear that Jonathan Goodluck is now the Acting President.

It feels so good to know that the driver’s seat of this vehicle called Nigeria is no longer empty.

No doubt. The skeptics have a lot to say. They always do.

What do you expect critics to do?

Criticise of course!

That’s why they are critics anyway.

Regardless of what the critics say, this is a step in the right direction.

It’s a sign that there’s still hope for our Nation.

It’s a sign that things can still work.

It’s a sign that there’s a silver lining on the dark cloud that has hitherto pervaded our socio-political clime.

We have complained for too long. Now let us take a turn.

I encourage you to pray for Mr.Jonathan Goodluck.

He needs divine wisdom and direction.Let us pray that he will find it easy to do God’s will for Nigeria while he is in that office.Let us pray for peace and prosperity.Let us also pray that his successor will build on his success.

Things have been rough for many people in our Nation but I feel the change in the atmosphere.

Let us also thank God for all those who were part of the

“ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!” rallies, Dr.(Mrs) Dora Akunyili, Prof. Wole Soyinka and all the pressure groups that refused to keep quiet.

Nigeria’s best is yet to come.

They say “A rolling stone gathers no moss” but I have also come to realise that you can never actuallise your potential if you stay in one place.

Don’t misunderstand what I’m saying.

I believe in the power of focus.

It is undoubtedly one of the keys to success.

What I am saying is that sometimes you have to move around if you don’t want to be bound.

I thought I would have time to recuperate after the SPEAK WITH POWER seminar but I had to travel to Ibadan soon after for my sister’s induction in Ibadan.

I stayed over to share birthday greetings with my mum and “gist” with my beloved grandmother.

I got back to Lagos and had a series of meetings in Badagry.

Through it all, I thank God for Journey mercies and the opportunity to be a blessing to my generation.

P.S: Watch out for pictures from the seminar.

Happy New Month.

January went by so fast.

Hmmm…I wonder how it was for you.

For me, it was very productive.

I have been able to re-integrate into society after three months of being sequestered in the TALK ACADEMY.

I was also able to create my schedule for this year.

To cap it all, I hosted my first seminar, SPEAK WITH POWER on saturday, January 30.That was a blast.I’d tell you about it over the next couple of days.

I am looking forward to greater results this month.

I believe you are too.

I wish you a productive and prosperous february.

May God grant you great wisdom and favour.

May God open doors for you.

May God open His good treasure to you.
